Public room with veranda

Our public room accommodates 46 guests and offers a comfortable and snug atmosphere. Our veranda was completely renovated and given a modern touch in 2012 and accommodates 100 guests. From here, you have a superb view of the gardens, the pond and the majestic Nun's Rock.

Historic farmhouse parlor

Indulge, feast, and celebrate in an authentic and cozy atmosphere inside our farmhouse parlor, site of our original, more than 230 years old and, above all, beautiful tiled stove. Be it a family celebration, a smaller event or a training event: here is an exceptionally beautiful room for about 50 people or a festive table for up to 30 people. You don't have to take care of anything, just lean back, relax, and be right at home!

Enjoy a meal in the open air

Have a seat in our exceptionally beautiful outdoor restaurant, and indulge in our regional and seasonal specialties whilst enjoying the fresh air and the view of the pond and its merrily jumping fish. Even more delicacies and our popular soft ice-cream, which has been homemade by us for decades, can be had in Schwerdtner's open-air ice-cream parlor. There is an infinity of options available at the adjoining self-service kiosk.

Passive recreation

From the kiosk, you can also cast off: rent one of our traditional wooden rowboats and leisurely cruise around the small island. Enjoy the scenery on a hike through the pleasure grounds, while you refresh yourself in the water-treading basin or while climbing up to the summit of Nun's Rock through the Canyon Alley. We especially recommend the coach rides offered from May until September by “Pferde Augustin”.
